49ers Tackle Trent Williams Faces Lawsuit Over Unpaid Porsche Lease

San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams is facing legal action from a Washington state car dealership over allegations he stopped making payments on a luxury vehicle lease nearly five years ago.

OpenRoad Auto Group filed a lawsuit against the NFL star, claiming he has failed to honor the terms of a lease agreement for a 2018 Porsche 911. According to the dealership's complaint, the lease was executed in 2011 and required Williams to make 48 monthly payments, with the agreement set to expire on August 31, 2025.

The dealership alleges Williams made only two payments on the lease—one in August 2021 and another in September 2021—totaling $10,617.26. Since those initial payments, OpenRoad claims the veteran lineman has not submitted a single additional payment.

According to the lawsuit, Williams had authorized OpenRoad Auto Group to automatically debit his bank account for the monthly lease payments. However, the dealership alleges he closed that account shortly after signing the lease agreement, preventing any further automatic withdrawals.

The current whereabouts of the Porsche remain unknown, according to OpenRoad. The dealership suggests Williams may have sold the vehicle to another car company, which subsequently resold it to a third party. Regardless of where the vehicle ended up, the dealership maintains Williams remains financially responsible under the lease terms.

OpenRoad Auto Group is seeking $244,199.28 in past-due lease payments, along with additional charges, fees, and costs. The lawsuit accuses Williams of breach of contract, fraud, and other violations.

The financial dispute comes despite Williams securing a lucrative contract extension with the 49ers in April 2026. The two-year deal is worth $50 million, making the alleged unpaid lease amount a small fraction of his recent earnings.

Williams, who has been a cornerstone of the 49ers offensive line, has not publicly responded to the lawsuit. Representatives for the player did not immediately provide comment on the allegations.
