ATLANTIC CITY - Aviation enthusiasts can start planning their summer getaway now that organizers have locked in the schedule for next year's Visit Atlantic City Airshow. The three-day spectacle, branded as the Soar and Shore Festival, will run from Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6, 2027.
This annual tradition brings military precision and civilian aerobatic artistry to our shores, drawing thousands of spectators who gather along the beach to witness high-performance aircraft demonstrations. Visit Atlantic City, led by President Gary Musich, continues working to enhance the roster of military hardware and civilian performers each year.
While the specific lineup for 2027 hasn't been announced, organizers are setting their sights on bringing either the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels to Atlantic City by 2028 or sooner. These elite military demonstration teams represent the pinnacle of precision flying and would mark a significant milestone for the event.
The 2026 edition showcased an impressive array of military and civilian aircraft. Attendees witnessed demonstrations from the USAF F-22 Raptor Demo Team alongside USAF F-16C Fighting Falcons and the USMC F-35B Lightning II Demo Team. The civilian performers included Sam Rogers, Warbird Thunder, a MiG-17F Demonstration, and Paul Bennet piloting the Wolf Pitts Pro.
The multi-day format allows families and aviation fans to experience the show across an entire weekend, combining beach activities with world-class aerial performances. As planning continues for the 2027 event, our community can look forward to another summer of roaring engines and gravity-defying maneuvers over the Atlantic City coastline.
