MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred Friday, Sept. 25, in Middle Township, according to the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities announced the investigation Friday afternoon but released few details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Prosecutor's Office said the scene has been secured and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
