Bianca Censori may be called to testify in a civil lawsuit alleging her husband Kanye West created a hostile work environment at Donda Academy, according to court documents.
The wife of the musician appears among 22 potential witnesses identified by defense counsel for an October trial, TMZ.com reported. The case was filed by Benjamin Provo, a former security guard at the academy, who has brought claims of discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, and labor code violations against Kanye West and Yeezy.
The witness list also includes Kanye West himself and his chief of staff Milo Yiannopolous, among numerous others. However, inclusion on the list does not guarantee any individual will ultimately take the stand during trial proceedings.
According to the complaint, Provo alleges that West and members of his management team treated him and other Black employees less favorably than white staff members. The lawsuit details specific incidents that Provo characterizes as discriminatory workplace practices.
Central to Provo's claims is an allegation that he received an ultimatum regarding his appearance. He states he was told to cut his hair, which he wore in dreadlocks for religious reasons, or face termination from his position.
The former security guard further alleges he was instructed to physically confront paparazzi photographing near the campus. According to his account, a manager promised he would be bailed out if arrested while carrying out such directives.
The October trial will determine whether Provo's allegations of workplace discrimination and hostile environment hold merit. The case represents one of several legal challenges currently facing the musician and his business entities.
