Cardi B and Offset Reunite for Children's Birthday Party

Despite their contentious divorce proceedings, Cardi B and Offset temporarily put their differences aside Saturday to throw a joint birthday celebration for two of their children.

The estranged spouses gathered for an elaborate party honoring their son Wave, who turned 5 on Friday, and their daughter Blossom, who will turn 2 on Monday, according to TMZ.com.

The celebration featured extensive Disney and "Sonic the Hedgehog" themed decorations, along with balloon arches, carnival games, and an open bar for adult guests. Cardi B embraced the theme by dressing as Minnie Mouse for the festivities.

Both parents documented the event on social media, with Offset sharing video of Wave dancing while holding cotton candy. Cardi B posted extensive footage from the party as well. However, the two did not appear together in any of the shared content, maintaining their distance despite attending the same event.

The party included a Chipotle stand, which Cardi B referenced while making a pointed comment about her relationship status. She reminded followers that she had previously mentioned wanting such a feature at her wedding, then added that she would not be getting married anytime soon, so the children received it instead.

The couple remains legally married despite Cardi B filing for divorce for a second time in August 2024. Offset subsequently requested joint custody of their three children, and the proceedings have grown increasingly acrimonious. Both parties have publicly criticized each other multiple times as the divorce continues.

This is not the first time the pair have set aside their disputes for their children's sake. They previously reunited for Wave's birthday in 2024, even as their divorce moved forward through the legal system.

The Saturday gathering demonstrates that while the couple's marriage appears to be ending, they continue to prioritize co-parenting their children during significant family occasions.
