Michael Desronvil, the sole juror who prevented a unanimous verdict in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, stated during his first televised interview on Thursday that he now fears for his life after Clancy's defense attorney singled him out in court filings.
Speaking with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, Desronvil described feeling "scared" in the wake of a motion filed by attorney Kevin Reddington. That motion asked the judge to authorize an investigation into Desronvil after his vote resulted in a mistrial.
According to Desronvil, Reddington's filing requested that the court examine his cell phone data usage during deliberations. The attorney also sought to have Desronvil answer questions about the truthfulness of his responses on the jury questionnaire.
Desronvil told McEnany that Reddington repeatedly used the pronoun "he" when addressing the judge. Because Desronvil was one of only three men on the 12-person jury, he said this detail made it easier for anyone with harmful intentions to figure out his identity and potentially cause trouble at his residence.
Despite his concerns, Desronvil confirmed that he has not received any physical threats. He also recounted the experience of listening to Patrick Clancy's 911 call, describing it as "surreal" and noting the desperation and pain evident in the call regarding the murders of his three young children.
Even with the turmoil, Desronvil said he would be willing to serve on a jury again if called upon.
As TMZ previously reported, Desronvil has rejected claims that he disregarded reasonable doubt, stating his belief that Clancy carefully planned the killings. Other jurors have presented a contrasting account, alleging that Desronvil would not change his position even though he reportedly acknowledged uncertainties in the case.
Clancy's defense team argues she was experiencing postpartum psychosis at the time of her children's deaths, while prosecutors contend she was aware of her actions.
