Dorit Kemsley Says PK Controlled Family Finances

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley has leveled serious financial allegations against her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, claiming he shut her out of the family's money matters throughout their marriage. The claims surfaced in new legal documents obtained by TMZ and published Monday, September 28, 2026.

According to the filing, Dorit Kemsley stated plainly that PK Kemsley "controlled the family finances" for the duration of their marriage. She further alleged that whenever she sought information to better understand their financial picture or to take part in money decisions, he "treated those requests as distrust," a response she said caused her to back off and simply depend on him to manage everything.

The documents describe a turning point after the couple separated in 2024. Dorit Kemsley claims PK Kemsley assured her he would continue covering the household bills following the split. However, she said she discovered in February 2026 that gas service at their marital home was slated for shutoff because of unpaid charges.

While PK Kemsley made a payment that averted the shutoff, Dorit Kemsley alleged he never disclosed that he had otherwise ceased paying the utilities. Because the accounts were in her name, she said the lapse produced substantial arrears and harmed her credit. She also claimed PK Kemsley has repeatedly broken promises regarding the bills.

PK Kemsley offers a sharply different version of events, as TMZ previously reported. He has said Dorit Kemsley actually out-earns him through her "RHOBH" salary and endorsement deals, and he maintains he never committed to paying her bills indefinitely after moving out of the marital home.

The former couple has not yet reached an agreement resolving their financial disputes, leaving the matter unresolved as both sides press their competing accounts.
