Jamie Foxx Credits Al Pacino for Easing Fatherhood Worries

Jamie Foxx has opened up about his initial hesitation regarding fatherhood at age 58, crediting fellow actor Al Pacino with providing unexpected reassurance about welcoming a child later in life.

The actor disclosed that he experienced mixed feelings about the prospect of raising another baby until a chance encounter with Pacino, who is currently parenting a toddler at 86 years old. According to Foxx, their exchange completely shifted his perspective on the matter.

"I was on the fence about having a baby at my age," Foxx told E! News, describing how the conversation with his longtime friend put his concerns to rest. The two actors joked about encountering one another during morning school runs, a humorous acknowledgment of their shared circumstances as older fathers.

Foxx's girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, is currently pregnant and several months into her pregnancy, according to TMZ, which first reported the news. The child will be Foxx's third.

The actor first became a parent in 1994 when his former partner Connie Kline welcomed their daughter, Corinne. His relationship with Huckstepp began publicly in August 2022, when she appeared alongside him for the world premiere of his film "Day Shift." The couple's romance intensified during summer 2023, with sightings including an appearance together at Nobu Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico.

During his interview, Foxx entertained audiences with an impression of Pacino while recounting their conversation, demonstrating the lighthearted nature of their discussion about navigating parenthood across generational divides.
