Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola Expecting First Child

Actor Jon Hamm and his wife Anna Osceola are preparing to welcome their first child together, marking a milestone the couple has anticipated since the early days of their relationship.

The pregnancy news emerged Monday, August 10, when photographs published by the Daily Mail showed Osceola displaying a visible baby bump while vacationing in the Hamptons with the 55-year-old actor. The couple wore swimwear during the beach getaway, where Osceola's pregnancy became apparent.

"Jon has always wanted to be a dad with Anna," a source told Us Weekly. "Having a family was something that was really important to both of them from the beginning. They've talked about this chapter for a long time and were always on the same page about wanting children, so for it to actually be happening now feels incredibly special."

The expectant father has embraced the journey with enthusiasm, according to those close to the couple. Hamm has been described as "over the moon" and "so attentive and excited about every little milestone" throughout the pregnancy.

Osceola, 38, is reportedly well into her pregnancy and feeling healthy. "Anna is pretty far along now and feeling really good," the source told Us Weekly. "She took it easy at first and tried to stay under the radar. They have been trying to relax a bit but are enjoying making plans for the baby."

The actress has entered nesting mode as the couple prepares their home for the arrival of their child. Both parents-to-be are savoring the experience together, with their bond reportedly growing stronger through the process.

"They're both soaking it all in and are just so excited to become parents," the insider told Us Weekly. "Their relationship has only gotten stronger, and they feel really lucky to be going through this together."

The couple's romance began on the set of Mad Men, where they first met in 2015. Hamm had portrayed the central character Don Draper since the acclaimed drama premiered in 2007, while Osceola joined the cast during its final season as receptionist Clementine. Their professional relationship evolved into a romantic partnership in 2017.

During a September 2022 appearance on Howard Stern's program, Hamm reflected on how his personal growth had shaped his relationship with Osceola. "It's only been in the last couple of years of me kind of sitting down and really thinking about all that stuff that's made the relationship that I'm in now, is even more meaningful," he said. "And opened up the possibility of being married, having kids, defining a new version of happiness, life, wellness. All that stuff, it sounds hokey and whatever, but it's real."

The couple became engaged in February 2023 and married that summer. By June 2024, Hamm was publicly expressing his desire for fatherhood, acknowledging the timing with candor.

"I hope it turns into kids," Hamm told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2024. "It's not lost on me that I'm 53. I will be the old dad, but so it goes. It could be a good thing. We'll see."
