Prosecutors say investigators seized 950 folds of heroin, more than 100 pressed pills, oxycodone and a loaded handgun during a search of Lee Jaudon's home
MAYS LANDING, N.J. — A Mays Landing man has pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges after authorities said a months-long investigation led to the seizure of hundreds of doses of heroin, other suspected drugs and a loaded handgun from his home.
Lee Jaudon, 44, pleaded guilty Sept. 21 to possessing a large quantity of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute, possessing a handgun while distributing drugs, possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute and possession of a weapon as a certain person, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Under the plea agreement, Jaudon faces a recommended sentence of 14 years in New Jersey State Prison, including seven years of parole ineligibility.
950 Folds of Heroin Seized
The case began with a drug investigation that continued for several months, prosecutors said.
On July 29, 2025, law enforcement officers executed a search of Jaudon's Mays Landing home.
Inside a bag in the residence, investigators found 950 folds of heroin packaged for street-level sale, according to the Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities also recovered 110 multicolored pressed pills suspected of containing either methamphetamine or fentanyl, along with 34 oxycodone hydrochloride pills.
Because the pressed pills were described by prosecutors as suspected drugs, South Jersey NewsBeat is retaining that distinction rather than identifying their contents as confirmed.
Investigators also seized $2,559 in cash in various denominations.
Loaded Glock Recovered
Authorities said the same search uncovered a Glock 44 .22-caliber handgun loaded with 10 rounds in its magazine, along with an additional 99 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition.
According to prosecutors, Jaudon has a previous felony conviction that prohibits him from possessing a firearm.
Jaudon subsequently pleaded guilty to the charges stemming from the investigation.
The case was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Jaudon's 14-year prison term and seven-year period of parole ineligibility are part of the plea agreement and will not become his sentence unless imposed by the court.
