Robert Louis Lee, the entertainer known professionally as DJ LetThemKnow, filed a court petition last month seeking joint legal and physical custody of his four-year-old son, Superior, according to TMZ.com. The child's mother is Nevaeh Akira, and the petition was submitted before her highly publicized split from the rapper Blueface.
The timing of the filing is significant. Akira gave birth to a child with Blueface only a few weeks ago, and the relationship ended shortly afterward. Lee's petition, however, concerns a separate custody matter involving Superior, who is not Blueface's child.
In his petition, Lee proposed a parenting plan that would divide the week between the two parents. According to TMZ.com, Lee stated the arrangement would provide Superior with a "predictable routine" that supports the child's well-being.

Last month, while Akira was out with Blueface, Superior called his mother and claimed that Lee had choked him. Lee denied any malice in the incident, telling TMZ.com that it occurred while the pair were "rough housing."
The dispute between Akira and Blueface reportedly involved frequent arguments about Lee, among other issues. Those conflicts culminated in Blueface removing Akira from his residence during a livestream, an event that drew widespread attention online.
