Jesse Nickell III, the musician's father, has petitioned the court to serve as administrator of his son's trust, according to documents obtained by TMZ. The filing reveals Oliver Tree's detailed plans for preserving his artistic works and supporting future creators through a charitable foundation.
The artist, who died alongside five others including YouTuber Gaspi when two helicopters collided, left no spouse or children. His estate includes bank accounts, complete rights to his musical catalog, interests in various business ventures, and personal items such as clothing and jewelry.
Court documents indicate Oliver Tree intended to provide handwritten guidance on asset distribution, though it remains unclear whether those instructions were completed before his death. His father was designated as the primary choice for administrator, with his mother Christine named as an alternate.
The probate filing specifies that in the absence of detailed written instructions, the administrator should preserve all art pieces while liquidating other assets. The art collection encompasses his iconic wardrobe, the world's biggest scooter, the bull quad, all music props and installations, touring props and gear, video storyboards, concept art, fashion designs, runway looks, paintings, and podcast props.
