Olivia d'Abo Seeks Restraining Order Against Neighbor

Actress Olivia d'Abo, known for her role on "The Wonder Years," has filed for a civil harassment restraining order against her neighbor, alleging that he has harassed her since June over her garbage bins. The filing, reported by TMZ on October 23, 2026, states that d'Abo believes the neighbor has been moving her bins from the street to a point partway up her driveway.

According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, d'Abo claims the neighbor intentionally placed the bins across her driveway in a manner that prevented her from leaving, forcing her to exit her vehicle and move them herself. The actress further alleges that on August 26, while she was relocating one of the bins, it toppled over and the lid struck her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.

D'Abo states that the incident left her with a large gash across her face, in addition to injuries to her back, neck, arm, and leg. She also claims that the injuries prompted her fiancé to call 911. Following the incident, d'Abo says she learned that her neighbor was "likely responsible" for moving the bins up her driveway, leading her to install a security camera.

Within an hour of installing the camera, d'Abo claims it recorded the neighbor moving her bins from the street and arranging them across her driveway. She asserts that she has captured him doing this "on multiple occasions." In addition to the bin incidents, d'Abo says the neighbor has begun calling and emailing her, and she now feels unsafe in her home.

The actress is seeking a civil harassment restraining order against the neighbor. The case highlights the potential for neighborhood disputes to escalate into serious safety concerns, particularly when they involve repeated intrusions on personal property and result in physical injury.
