Reality television stars Phaedra Parks and Chris 'CT' Tamburello made their relationship red carpet official at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday, September 5, appearing together publicly for the first time as a couple.
The 54-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran arrived at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles wearing a black open-back gown adorned with silver trim. Tamburello, 46, a longtime Challenge competitor, accompanied her in a classic black-and-white tuxedo.
The Emmy appearance came just 24 hours after Parks publicly acknowledged the relationship during a Friday, September 4 appearance on Jeff Lewis Live. When host Jeff Lewis, 56, pressed for details about how many dates the pair had shared or whether any sleepovers had occurred, Parks remained coy.
"I can't give this [information] to you," Parks told Us Weekly. "I've got to save it for the world!"
During that same radio interview, Parks suggested she might bring Tamburello as her date to the weekend's Emmy ceremonies, a plan that clearly came to fruition.
The relationship developed after the two met while filming The Traitors season 2, where their on-screen chemistry did not go unnoticed by fellow contestants or viewers. Peter Weber, 35, who appeared alongside them on the Peacock reality competition, previously expressed support for a potential romance between the two.
"I ship it," Weber told Us Weekly. "I think they're really cute together. They had some good chemistry. Who knows what the future holds with them?"
At the time of filming, however, Tamburello downplayed any romantic connection. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in March 2024, he characterized their interaction as part of the game rather than genuine romance.
"Nothing real happened, I'll be honest with you," Tamburello told Entertainment Weekly. "It was fun. I loved her because she's a cornball. She was great. I would say there was a sense of sincerity, for sure. But it was also playing a game, you know?"
He added at the time that he had too much respect for Parks to manufacture something inauthentic, questioning the logistics of such a relationship and noting he could not relocate to Atlanta.
The new relationship comes as Tamburello navigates ongoing divorce proceedings with estranged wife Catalina White. The 40-year-old model responded to news of the Emmy appearance on Saturday by commenting on social media, "Sign the papers" with clapping emojis, apparently urging Tamburello to finalize their divorce.
White filed for divorce in Florida in January, with court documents obtained by Us Weekly indicating she described the marriage as "irretrievably broken." The couple had been scheduled to file a financial affidavit for a potential settlement by March 13, 2026, but their attorneys jointly requested a deadline extension because Tamburello was filming a television show.
In August, White told Where Is the Buzz that she "genuinely wish[es] Chris nothing but the best" following their separation.
Tamburello and White were married for two years. He was previously married to Lilianet Solares from 2018 to 2023. Tamburello and Solares, 34, share a 10-year-old son named CJ.
Parks was married to Apollo Nida from 2009 to 2017. The former couple share two sons: Ayden, 16, and Dylan, 13.
