New details have emerged regarding the death of Tyler Duckworth, a reality television star recognized for his work on MTV's "The Challenge" and related programming. A case report from the Grand Forks Police Department reveals the 44-year-old was discovered positioned against the bathroom door in his North Dakota apartment.
According to the police document obtained by Page Six, the discovery came after a downstairs neighbor reported water seeping through the ceiling from an overflowing bathtub in Duckworth's unit. The neighbor attempted to shut off the water supply but could not determine whether Duckworth was alive at the time, the report stated.
The individual who contacted authorities indicated difficulty in reaching the former MTV competitor prior to the discovery, according to the outlet's reporting on the case file.
Grand Forks Police Department officials previously confirmed to TMZ that responding officers observed no visible signs of trauma on Duckworth's body. Investigators found no evidence of gunshot or stab wounds, and initial findings indicated no signs pointing toward homicide as the cause of death.
The case remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact circumstances and cause of Duckworth's death. The reality television personality gained recognition through his participation in competitive reality programming on the MTV network.
