Rapper Post Malone is engaged to stylist Christy Lee, according to social media posts from close friends who attended what appeared to be a celebration earlier this week.
The 31-year-old musician, whose legal name is Austin Richard Post, seemingly proposed to Lee with several of her closest friends present. Matthew Madonna shared video footage via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 19, showing the newly engaged couple in an intimate moment.
"Mom and dad got engaged," Madonna wrote on his Instagram Story, according to Celebrity News: Latest Celeb News & Pictures - Us Weekly. The video captured Lee sitting on Malone's lap as the pair shared a kiss, with a large diamond ring visible on her finger.
Additional confirmation came from Phoebe Mckeaan, another friend of Lee, who posted a photograph on Wednesday showing the bride-to-be with her hand on the back of the singer's neck as they sat together in a vehicle. The image prominently displayed the engagement ring, which Mckeaan captioned with a ring and red heart emoji.
Model Brooke Donovan also shared content from the celebration, writing via her Instagram Story, "So happy for you both," according to Celebrity News: Latest Celeb News & Pictures - Us Weekly.
Neither Malone nor Lee have issued public statements regarding the engagement. The couple has maintained a notably private relationship throughout their time together, rarely discussing their romance publicly.
The relationship between the "Sunflower" artist and Lee first became public in January 2025 when photographers captured them departing the Mascagni Hotel in Rome. Lee is a student at Parsons School of Design at the New School.
The pair were subsequently spotted together at a bar in Idaho that March, followed by appearances in Paris during April 2025. However, reports emerged in June 2025 indicating the couple had separated one month earlier. The recent engagement suggests they have since reconciled and resumed their relationship.
This marks Malone's second engagement. He was previously engaged to Hee Sung "Jamie" Park, with whom he shares a daughter born in May 2022. The musician confirmed that same year that he and Park had quietly become engaged.
Following his November 2024 separation from Park, Malone engaged in a custody dispute that was resolved through the courts. In November 2025, the former couple filed documents in Utah, where Malone resides, notifying the court they had reached a custody agreement regarding their three-year-old daughter.
Representatives for Malone have not responded to requests for comment regarding the engagement announcement.
