Reality Star Bozoma Saint John Weds in Ghana

Bozoma Saint John, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, married Keely Watson on Friday, August 21, during a traditional Ghanaian marriage ceremony held at the Accra residence of former President Nana Akufo-Addo. Hundreds of invited guests witnessed the couple exchange vows in Ghana's capital city.

The wedding celebration extended across multiple days, beginning with a welcome reception at the Eve by Boz headquarters. A second pre-wedding event took place on Thursday, August 20, before the main ceremony.

"I am so in awe of the opportunity to love someone as deeply as this again," Boz told Us Weekly. "It's all butterflies."

The couple's relationship began before Saint John started filming season 14 of RHOBH, which premiered in November 2024. They announced their engagement in September 2025, approximately ten months before their wedding day.

Saint John shared with Us Weekly how a conversation during an early date revealed Watson's priorities. When she asked about his future goals, his response stood out from typical answers focused on financial success.

"We were on a date once, and I asked him, like, what he sees for himself in the future, you know, from a personal standpoint," Boz recalled to Us Weekly. "And he was like, 'I hope one day, I'm able to just sit on a beach with my wife, and just look out of the ocean and enjoy the day.'"

The answer resonated deeply with the businesswoman. "I was like, 'God, what a wonderful goal,'" she told Us Weekly. "You expect people to be like, 'I want to earn $17 million' … and he was like, 'I just want to be with my wife.' And I was like, 'Oh, yeah. Yeah, same. I want to be your wife.'"

The wedding invitations, created by Minted, incorporated vibrant colors inspired by Kente cloth and featured culturally significant elements. Both the impala lily, Ghana's national flower, and ancient Adinkra symbols appeared throughout the design. Saint John became an official citizen of Ghana in 2022, with Watson following in 2024.

"The impala lily — Ghana's national flower — and ancient Adinkra symbols were woven throughout, so every element had meaning and cultural weight. I love that every detail felt bespoke," the bride told Us Weekly last month. "From the custom envelope liners to the gold foil finishing touches, the invitations felt less like stationery and more like a keepsake. It set the tone for what we wanted our guests to experience long before they arrived in Ghana."

During her time on the Bravo series, Saint John has openly discussed her relationship with Watson and their efforts to expand their family despite fertility challenges. The reality star, who previously experienced a pregnancy loss before welcoming her daughter Lael, now 17, acknowledged the difficulty of sharing such personal struggles on camera.

"When somebody's talking about the difficulty of getting pregnant or losing babies along the way, it's not something that we share publicly as a society," Boz told Us Weekly in March. "Everybody wants the happy ending. However, there's a lot of people who struggle with expanding their families."

Saint John addressed critics who questioned her family planning decisions, noting that she and Watson have thoroughly discussed their options. "In my comments, [there are] people who will say, 'You're too old. Why would you try this? Why would you harm your body this way? He's using you to have a kid,'" she told Us Weekly. "What the hell do you know? You have no idea what's going on in my body or in my relationship. … I didn't come to this decision lightly."

The businesswoman expressed appreciation for Watson's involvement in wedding preparations. "He's a great partner in this," she said to Us Weekly, joking that she was "running these weddings like a damn business."

Saint John was previously married to Peter Saint John. The couple welcomed Lael in May 2009 before separating. Peter Saint John was diagnosed with cancer following their split and died in December 2013.
