Sea Isle City, NJ – On Friday, July 17, 2026 at approximately 4pm, on the 59th Street Beach, the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol was alerted that a male, without warning, had gone under the water. The lifeguards were able to locate a submerged male and bring him to shore. Life saving measures were initiated by the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol, Police, Emergency Medical Services and paramedics.
The male was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The incident remains under investigation.
