Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Mark 37th Birthday in SoHo

Taylor Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, marked the NFL star's 37th birthday with a Monday night dinner in New York City, stepping out in coordinated dark looks for the occasion.

Photographs published Monday, October 5, by People showed the couple exiting an SUV on Mulberry Street in SoHo on their way to Torrisi, the Italian restaurant from acclaimed chef Mario Carbone. Swift, 36, paired a leather bomber jacket with a black dress trimmed in lace, while the birthday celebrant wore a dark cardigan sweater, charcoal-colored pants, and leather shoes.

Torrisi has earned a Michelin Star, receiving the recognition in 2023. The restaurant describes its approach as delivering "the highest levels of execution and the most spectacular ingredients with inspired creativity and a deep respect for New York City's culinary history."

The timing of the celebration aligns with a pause in Kelce's professional schedule. The Kansas City Chiefs are on a bye this week, and the team will next take the field against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18, at Arrowhead Stadium.

New York City carries particular significance for the couple, who married at Madison Square Garden on July 3 before a star-studded guest list. During the ceremony, digital billboards surrounding the arena — known as the "World's Most Famous Arena" — announced that the pair were "JUST&T MARRIED."

Kelce addressed the wedding publicly for the first time while speaking with reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp on August 12, describing the occasion as "the best night of my life" and joking that he had enjoyed "a fun offseason."

"Wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us," he said during a press conference. "That's about all I really got from that night."

The birthday dinner followed a busy weekend for Swift. She appeared to skip the Chiefs' road game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, October 4, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, a contest Kansas City won 30 to 27. The previous night, she made a cameo alongside her friend Dakota Johnson on Saturday Night Live in New York City, popping up during Johnson's monologue and later surprising her with a birthday cake during the "goodnights" segment to celebrate the Verity actress turning 37 on Sunday.
