Dakota Harper and Felicity Eatmon, a West Virginia couple whose shared TikTok account has gained a following on social media, were taken into custody Tuesday and now face charges of first-degree arson and conspiracy to commit arson, according to WCHS-TV. The allegations stem from a fire at an abandoned home in Charleston that authorities say was recorded on surveillance cameras.
The blaze was first reported Sunday night in Charleston. Investigators have since reviewed video that they say shows Felicity Eatmon passing a burning piece of paper to Dakota Harper, who then deposited it inside the structure. The same footage reportedly captures the pair entering the home and later departing the property.
As of Wednesday, the fire continued to smolder, with smoke still rising from the scene. A church in the vicinity reportedly incurred $10,000 in damage as a result of the fire.
Jail records indicate that both Dakota Harper and Felicity Eatmon are being held on $10,000 bond each. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
