Country music superstar joins Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Riley Green for four days of music on Wildwood Beach next June.
WILDWOOD, N.J. — Country music superstar Tim McGraw is returning to Wildwood Beach for the first time in more than a decade, joining an all-star lineup for the 2027 Barefoot Country Music Fest.
Festival organizers announced Friday, October 16, that McGraw will be the fourth and final headliner for next year's event, scheduled for June 17–20, 2027.
The three-time Grammy Award winner joins previously announced headliners Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Riley Green, completing the top billing for the festival's seventh year.
The appearance will mark McGraw's debut at Barefoot Country Music Fest, although he is no stranger to performing on Wildwood Beach.
"Tim McGraw is country music royalty, and we're thrilled to welcome him to Barefoot for the first time," said Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, which produces the festival.
"For more than three decades, his music has connected with generations of fans, and bringing an artist of his caliber to Wildwood Beach is something we're really excited about."
A Return to Wildwood After 11 Years
McGraw last performed on Wildwood Beach in 2016, when he headlined a Fourth of July concert that attracted an estimated 30,000 fans despite rainy weather.
His return in 2027 will come 11 years after that memorable beachfront performance.
The singer has remained one of country music's most recognizable performers for more than three decades, with a career that includes 49 No. 1 singles and more than 100 million records sold worldwide, according to festival organizers.
His biggest hits include "Live Like You Were Dying," "Humble and Kind," "Don't Take the Girl," "I Like It, I Love It" and "Something Like That."
McGraw has earned three Grammy Awards, 19 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards.
He also continued touring in 2026 with his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour and new music.
Beyond his recording career, McGraw has appeared in films including Friday Night Lights and The Blind Side. He also starred alongside his wife, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott in 1883, the prequel to the television series Yellowstone.

The festival will feature more than 40 artists performing across multiple stages during the four-day event.

Barefoot Country Music Fest has grown into one of the Jersey Shore's signature summer entertainment events, attracting tens of thousands of country music fans to Wildwood Beach each year.
The event combines major national recording artists with regional performers and emerging country music talent.
Major Tourism Event for Wildwood
The festival has also become an important part of Wildwood's early summer tourism calendar.
Its June dates bring large crowds to the resort community shortly after the traditional Memorial Day kickoff to the summer season.
Festivalgoers fill hotels, restaurants, bars and other businesses throughout the Wildwoods, providing an economic boost before the peak July and August vacation period.
The beachfront setting, located between Morey's Piers, has helped distinguish the event from traditional concert venues.
Organizers say the festival has recorded multiple sellouts since its launch.
With four major headliners already confirmed, the 2027 edition is positioned to attract another substantial crowd.

Barefoot Country Music Fest 2027 will take place Thursday, June 17, through Sunday, June 20, on Wildwood Beach.
Tickets are currently on sale, and payment plans are available.
Festival organizers encourage fans to purchase early, noting that prices and availability may change as ticket inventory sells.
