Zak Bagans, the star of "Ghost Adventures," has purchased a Las Vegas property known as the "Underground Mansion" for $4.5 million, TMZ reported on Monday, October 5, 2026. The 16,000-square-foot estate features a Cold War luxury bunker concealed nearly three stories beneath an ordinary home.
The sprawling residence includes painted skies, artificial landscaping, a swimming pool, and a lighting system engineered to mimic the changing hours of the day. According to TMZ, during a walk-through of the property, Bagans learned about the bunker's dark history, which was unsettling enough that some staff members declined to enter it alone.
The bunker has previously drawn attention from major entertainment figures. MrBeast filmed at the location and described it as "one of the most expensive and bizarre bunkers on the planet," while Imagine Dragons shot the music video for "Monday" inside the bunker.
Bagans intends to transform the property into a museum, which would mark the first time it is opened to the public, according to TMZ. He also plans to produce an original documentary feature about the site.
"Once I was actually in the process of buying it, I was shocked by how many different mysteries are tied to this house, things I don't wanna reveal just yet," Bagans told TMZ.
Bagans stated that he intends to maintain the house and its background intact, allowing him to "dig deeper into the mysteries," according to TMZ.
Holly Erker of IS Luxury held the listing, and Rob Jensen with Rob Jensen Company represented Bagans in the transaction, TMZ reported.
