MAYS LANDING, NJ – On Friday, July 17, 2026, Shawn Guinyard, 39, from Atlantic City, NJ,
was sentenced to one year in New Jersey State prison by the Honorable Joseph Levin, J.S.C.
On October 14, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers were dispatched to the Tanger
Outlets in response to reports of a man exposing himself in the H&M and Victoria’s Secret stores.
Officers spoke to witnesses who observed the suspect publicly masturbating inside of the stores.
Police apprehended the suspect near the scene and identified him as Guinyard. On October 20,
2025, the Honorable Joseph Levin, J.S.C. granted the State’s motion to detain Guinyard.
On March 26, 2026, Guinyard pleaded guilty to two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual
contact
