Brandi Glanville is publicly crediting a former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills colleague with helping her navigate a lengthy and expensive health crisis. Glanville, 53, said Yolanda Hadid, 62, has connected her with physicians as she continues to seek answers about a facial disfigurement that has affected her for roughly three years.
Glanville made the remarks on the Friday, September 11 episode of her "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered" podcast, telling listeners, "Yolanda's always been very helpful," according to Celebrity News: Latest Celeb News & Pictures - Us Weekly. She elaborated on the same episode, saying, "Yolanda's been very helpful and she's hooked me up with some doctors," and adding, "It's just spending, spending, spending. Glanville also drew a distinction between her situation and Hadid's well-documented health struggles, noting that Hadid has chronic Lyme disease while her own condition is different. Hadid disclosed her Lyme disease diagnosis during her time on RHOBH. Glanville has said her facial disfigurement developed after she filmed Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in 2023. That season of Ultimate Girls Trip has never aired because of ongoing litigation between cast member Caroline Manzo and Bravo over an alleged incident involving Glanville.
After spending more than $113,000 on treatment options, Glanville recently received concrete information about her condition. She was diagnosed with "highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis."
The financial toll has prompted a fundraising effort. A close friend of Glanville launched a GoFundMe to support her treatment and recovery, and as of publication the appeal had raised more than $19,500 of a $25,000 goal. Several of her former Bravo colleagues have contributed, including RHOBH alumni Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer, RHOC original Vicki Gunvalson and RHOA alum Claudia Jordan.
Gunvalson, 64, explained her decision to donate in an exclusive statement to Us on Saturday, referencing her former RHOC costar Jeana Keough's ongoing tongue cancer battle. "As I donated to Jeana Keough, I did for Brandi," Gunvalson told the publication. "It breaks my heart that both of them who have been used to working to provide for themselves, are not able to at this time. I wish Brandi continued healing."
On Saturday, September 12, Glanville released a statement thanking the Bravo community for its support. Writing via her Instagram Stories, she said, "I'm honestly overwhelmed by all the love and support," and added, "Thank you to every single person who has donated, shared my GoFundMe, checked on me, prayed for me or sent me love," according to Celebrity News: Latest Celeb News & Pictures - Us Weekly.
