Breeze Airways Adds New Atlantic City-Florida Route

Our community's connection to Florida is about to get stronger. Breeze Airways announced today that it will launch new nonstop service between Atlantic City International Airport and Vero Beach, Florida, with flights operating on Mondays and Fridays beginning Thursday, October 2, 2026.

The announcement represents another step forward for Atlantic City International as carriers work to fill the void left by Spirit Air, which served South Jersey travelers for many decades before ceasing operations. Breeze Airways and Allegiant Air have emerged as the airport's primary carriers, steadily building out route networks that connect our region to popular destinations.

Breeze Airways has earned significant industry recognition recently. TIME Magazine named the airline to its TIME100 Most Influential Companies list for 2026, highlighting what the company describes as its "fresh take on affordable flying."
