Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe has offered her most direct acknowledgment yet of a serious relationship, suggesting that a third engagement may be on the horizon while stopping short of confirming the identity of her partner.
During an appearance on Amanda Hirsch's "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast, Bristowe, 41, addressed her romantic future with notable candor. "Now, I'm on this third possible engagement," she said, speaking to Us Weekly. "If I'm gonna finally talk about someone out loud after however long, I hope this is the person."
The comments represent Bristowe's most explicit public reference to her current relationship status, though she has been linked to fellow Bachelor Nation alumnus Zac Clark, 42, since January 2024. Neither party has publicly confirmed the relationship despite mounting speculation from fans of the franchise.
Bristowe's romantic history has played out largely in the public eye. She concluded her 2015 Bachelorette season engaged to Shawn Booth, a relationship that ended three years later. She subsequently dated Jason Tartick for two years before accepting his proposal in 2021. That engagement dissolved by August 2023.
Reflecting on her relationship patterns during the podcast conversation, Bristowe acknowledged personal growth while expressing vulnerability about past experiences. "My ego holds me back too because I'm like, 'What if I'm just a failure again in a relationship?'" she told Us Weekly. She noted that her current relationship has enabled her to become a "better" girlfriend.
The reality television personality elaborated on lessons learned from previous partnerships. "I've realized a lot, over my last two [relationships]," Bristowe added, speaking to Us Weekly. "Not that I was a terrible girlfriend or fiancée."
In the exclusive clip provided to Us Weekly, Bristowe also discussed her dating history with characteristic humor. "When I tell you, I went through a hoe phase in my 20s in Vancouver," she quipped to podcast host Hirsch, 37. "I was a hoe." She joked about experiencing "double hoe phases" due to her appearances on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Bristowe contrasted her dating experiences with Hirsch's long-term relationship history. "Being in a relationship for that long sounds so nice," she remarked, referring to the podcast host having been in a relationship since her early twenties. "It's exhausting out here."
While maintaining discretion about her partner's identity, Bristowe has previously discussed her current relationship in general terms. In July 2024, she admitted on the "Let's Be Honest" podcast that she was not nervous before a date with her mystery partner, recalling that she approached the encounter with a pragmatic mindset and experienced immediate chemistry despite an initial "blip" in the relationship's progression.
Bachelor Nation observers have noted additional circumstantial evidence supporting speculation about Bristowe and Clark. In April, Bristowe announced her relocation to New York City, where Clark resides. "CATS OUTTA THE BAG … I'M MOVING TO NYC," she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. "A whole new chapter is about to begin … and I want to hear your stories too."
The complete episode of "Not Skinny But Not Fat" featuring Bristowe's interview will be available on all podcast platforms Tuesday, July 14.
