Brittany Cartwright Granted Protective Order Against Jax Taylor

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted Brittany Cartwright a temporary protective order against her estranged husband Jax Taylor on Wednesday, August 27, according to court records. The ruling requires Taylor to stay at least 100 yards away from Cartwright.

The Valley star's filing accused Taylor of a pattern of abusive behavior that Cartwright alleges extended across nearly ten years. Her court documents detailed claims including acts of physical violence, manipulation through gaslighting tactics, domestic violence incidents, financial abuse, and coercive control throughout their relationship.

The judge denied Cartwright's petition for sole custody of the couple's son, Cruz, pending a future court hearing where custody arrangements will be addressed. Taylor has publicly denied the allegations brought against him.

In other celebrity news, Oliver Hudson and Erinn Bartlett recently marked a significant family milestone by moving their eldest son, Wilder, into his college dormitory. Bartlett documented the experience through an Instagram post on Saturday, August 24, describing the emotional day that brought "lots of tears."

The parents, who marked two decades of marriage in June, assisted Wilder and his roommate in furnishing their space. The room features lofted beds with a rug positioned underneath, complemented by gray duvets and decorative fairy lights that match between the two roommates.

Meanwhile, Nick Hogan addressed his relationship with sister Brooke Hogan in an interview published Friday. Nick characterized their current relationship as being in "a really good place," speaking to TV Insider. He expressed admiration for Brooke's interior decorating career and her recent appearance on Rock the Block.

The comments reflect a shift from earlier tensions, as Brooke had previously indicated she felt Nick did not provide adequate support during her estrangement from their late father, Hulk Hogan, who died in July 2025. Nick's recent remarks suggest the siblings have worked through those difficulties and strengthened their bond.
