Content Creator Reveals Alleged DM From Ariana Grande

A social media personality who has spent years transforming herself into Ariana Grande has disclosed what she claims is a private message from the pop star herself, offering both support and a gentle nudge toward authenticity.

Paige Niemann, 22, reveals the alleged direct message in a new documentary titled Turning the Paige, which chronicles her efforts to establish an identity separate from the celebrity she has spent years emulating. The content creator has amassed a substantial online following by meticulously recreating some of Grande's most recognizable looks, from her signature sky-high ponytail to her platinum blonde Wicked character portrayal.

According to the documentary, the message Niemann claims to have received from the 33-year-old singer struck a compassionate tone while encouraging her to embrace her natural appearance. The alleged message read: "I am flattered and i am sure you're very sweet. but i just wanted you to know, i looked back a little ways on your page and i think someone should tell you if they haven't today that you're very beautiful as YOURSELF."

The message reportedly continued: "Without all the make up and trying to make your face look more similar to someone else's and whatnot. i had to say it because it is the truth. always do what makes you happy of course but if i didn't say that to you, i'd regret it. you're beautiful as you are. take care."

Niemann first gained prominence in 2019 by paying tribute to Grande's Victorious character, Cat Valentine, complete with the character's distinctive bright red hair. Her social media presence expanded as she continued to mirror the singer's evolving style, including her thick winged eyeliner and the platinum blonde hair Grande wore as Glinda in the film adaptation of Wicked.

The documentary represents a significant shift for Niemann, who is now attempting to carve out her own path. According to the synopsis, the film offers viewers a glimpse at the person behind the carefully curated resemblance, describing her as "a young woman trying to build a life and career that's truly her own" beyond "the comparisons, the filters, and the fame."

Grande has not publicly addressed Niemann's disclosure of the purported direct message. The timing of the documentary's release coincides with a period of personal transition for the pop star, who recently ended her relationship with Ethan Slater. The former couple met on the set of Wicked in 2022 while portraying Glinda and Boq in the highly anticipated film adaptation.

"It's amicable. They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways," a source told Us Weekly regarding the split. "They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months."
