Ex-Wife of DJ Mustard Pursues Burglary Suspects

A home invasion in Chatsworth last week ended with an unusual pursuit when the homeowner tracked the alleged burglars herself, ultimately leading to their apprehension by law enforcement.

Chanel McFarlane, who finalized her divorce from music producer DJ Mustard last year, was away from her residence when three masked individuals broke into her property. Security camera footage obtained by TMZ.com shows the suspects wearing hoodies and masks as they entered the home and moved through various rooms.

The surveillance video captures the intruders searching the residence, though it remains unclear whether they targeted specific items or conducted a general search for valuables. The footage shows the suspects eventually exiting through the back door carrying bags filled with stolen property.

According to McFarlane, speaking to TMZ.com, the burglars gained entry by smashing a rear window. She also claims the intruders used mace against her dog, a Cane Corso breed.

McFarlane was monitoring her security system remotely when she observed the break-in occurring. She immediately drove back to the property to confront the suspects. Upon her arrival, the alleged burglars attempted to escape in a vehicle but collided with her Mercedes before abandoning their car and fleeing on foot, she told TMZ.com.

Rather than waiting for authorities, McFarlane pursued the suspects in her vehicle, following them until police officers arrived at her location and made the arrests.

This incident marks the third time McFarlane's current residence has been targeted by burglars, according to her social media posts addressing the recent crime wave she has experienced. She also disclosed that her previous home was burglarized, with thieves stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, designer bags, and other expensive items.

McFarlane says she plans to file restraining orders against the three suspects to protect herself and her children.
