The reunited country music duo will return to the Wildwood beach five years after one of its final performances together. Florida Georgia Line joins previously announced headliner Carrie Underwood for the June 17-20 festival.
WILDWOOD, N.J. — One of country music's biggest duos is heading back to the Wildwood beach.
Florida Georgia Line, the hitmaking duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, will return to Barefoot Country Music Fest in 2027, festival organizers announced Friday, Sept. 25.
The announcement marks a homecoming for the duo, which performed at the festival in 2022 during one of its final appearances together before stepping away from performing as a group.
Florida Georgia Line joins previously announced headliner Carrie Underwood for the four-day festival, scheduled for June 17-20, 2027, on the Wildwood beach.
“Florida Georgia Line's last show at Barefoot was one of their final performances together, and it was electric,” said Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, the company behind the festival. “Now they're coming back to Wildwood as part of one of the most anticipated reunions in country music. It's a full-circle moment for Barefoot, and we can't wait to welcome them back for what will be the biggest party on the beach.”
A Reunion Five Years in the Making
Florida Georgia Line became one of country music's most commercially successful acts with a string of hits that helped bring country music to a broader audience.
The duo is known for songs including “Cruise,” “This Is How We Roll,” “H.O.L.Y.” and “Meant to Be,” its collaboration with Bebe Rexha.
After stepping away from performing together in 2022, Hubbard and Kelley pursued separate solo careers.
The two reunited for a surprise appearance at CMA Fest in June 2026, marking their first performance together in years.
Their reunion has since expanded into the newly announced “Anything Goes Again: The Festival Tour,” a series of headlining appearances at major country music festivals across the country in 2027.
The Wildwood performance will be part of that tour.
Florida Georgia Line has earned 19 No. 1 singles and accumulated more than 18 billion streams, according to festival organizers.
The duo also earned two Diamond certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America, including one for “Cruise,” which became one of the best-selling digital country singles of all time.
Their collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” spent 50 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
The duo has received honors from the Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and CMT Music Awards.
Carrie Underwood Also Set to Headline
Florida Georgia Line is the second major headliner announced for the 2027 Barefoot Country Music Fest, joining Carrie Underwood.
Additional headliners and performers will be announced in the coming months.
The 2027 festival will mark the seventh year of Barefoot Country Music Fest, which has become a major summer entertainment event on the South Jersey Shore.
Organizers say next year's festival will feature more than 40 artists performing across multiple stages during four days of country music on the Wildwood beach.
The event has recorded multiple sellouts since its debut and draws country music fans to the Wildwoods for a weekend of concerts, beach activities and entertainment.
Tickets for 2027 Festival Already on Sale
Barefoot Country Music Fest 2027 will take place Thursday, June 17, through Sunday, June 20, on the Wildwood beach.
