Reality television star Jax Taylor has presented email correspondence in court as part of his ongoing legal dispute with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, alleging she has interfered with his professional relationships.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Taylor submitted evidence on Friday, September 11, 2026, in support of his request for a permanent restraining order against Cartwright. The filing includes an email dated August 17, 2026, which Taylor claims demonstrates how Cartwright's public statements have damaged his business prospects.
In a declaration filed with the court, the "Vanderpump Rules" cast member asserted that Cartwright has contacted his business associates in an effort to terminate partnerships and cancel deals. The email submitted as evidence bears the subject line "Jax X Carpe Collaboration Overview" and was addressed to Taylor's girlfriend and publicist, Lori Krebs.
The correspondence from a company representative began with appreciation for Taylor's involvement. "First of all, we're so thankful for the support and commitment Jax has shown to Carpe both as a fan and a partner," the representative wrote to Krebs, according to the email obtained by TMZ.com.
However, the message then explained the company's decision to step back from the partnership. "I spoke with the team, and we ultimately decided that endorsing his post isn't in our best interest at this time. We're aware of the buzz surrounding his name right now, and would prefer to pursue partnerships that don't complicate our business position," the representative stated in the email, according to TMZ.com.
The communication concluded by leaving the door open for future collaboration, noting the company remained "totally open to collaborating in the future" but that the timing was not appropriate at present.
Taylor maintains that the cancellation resulted from Cartwright's public characterizations of him as abusive. The reality star argues in his court filing that such statements have created professional difficulties since the couple's separation.
The legal proceedings have resulted in dueling restraining orders between the former couple. Taylor previously secured a temporary restraining order against Cartwright, while she obtained her own temporary restraining order against him. In her filing, Cartwright alleged that Taylor exhibited verbally abusive and aggressive behavior in the presence of their child.
The case represents the latest development in the contentious dissolution of the marriage between the two reality television personalities, both of whom gained prominence through their appearances on the Bravo network series. The court will ultimately determine whether to grant permanent restraining orders in the matter.
