Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Finalize Divorce

Country music artist Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo have officially ended their marriage after nearly ten years together, finalizing their divorce on Friday, July 17, 2026, according to Us Weekly. The dissolution comes just one month after Jelly Roll filed divorce papers in Tennessee citing irreconcilable differences.

The filing, which occurred in May 2026, became public knowledge on June 15, 2026. In an unusual approach to celebrity divorce, both parties have chosen to address the split openly and collaboratively, sharing candid details with their respective audiences.

During a concert performance in Saratoga Springs, New York, on June 18, 2026, Jelly Roll directly addressed his fans about the divorce. "I wasn't going to talk about this tonight, but while we're talking about liars… the internet is a liar," Jelly Roll told Us Weekly. "Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth."

The singer concluded his stage remarks with a message to Bunnie: "Bunnie, I love you baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that," he said, speaking to Us Weekly.

Bunnie Xo, who hosts the "Dumb Blonde" podcast, provided additional context about the circumstances leading to the divorce filing. She revealed that a Mother's Day disagreement served as the catalyst for the legal action.

"On Mother's Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don't think the details are necessary," Bunnie told Us Weekly in June 2026. "And, in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and said, 'Well, then file the f***ing divorce papers.'"

According to Bunnie, communication breakdowns over the previous year and a half created what she described as a "recipe for disaster." She clarified that the decision to divorce was not mutual, stating to Us Weekly: "Was I blindsided? And was this divorce mutual? No, it was not mutual."

Despite the dissolution of their marriage, the former couple is maintaining an amicable relationship. Bunnie addressed speculation about both parties' romantic lives during her June 2026 podcast episode. She confirmed that Jelly Roll has begun dating following their separation, referencing his significant weight loss of 200 pounds.

"Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season. He looks so good. He is healthier than he's ever been," Bunnie told Us Weekly. "He's even started dating, which is great. I love that."

Bunnie also dismissed rumors linking her romantically to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, calling the speculation "embarrassing" and apologizing to both Kroeger and the band for the unfounded claims.

The divorce has affected Jelly Roll's children from previous relationships, whom Bunnie helped raise during the marriage. She discussed the reaction of Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee Ann, acknowledging the difficulty of the transition.

"The only woman she has had consistently in her life, she feels, is being taken from her and it's a weird transition that we're gonna have to navigate," Bunnie said of Bailee, speaking to Us Weekly. "Of course she's mad at me, because I was always the f***ing disciplining parent in the relationship because he's f***ing fun dad all the time."

In perhaps the most unexpected revelation, Bunnie disclosed that she and Jelly Roll plan to continue their IVF journey and have a child together despite the divorce.

"You guys are going to be shocked to hear this but we're still having a baby," Bunnie told Us Weekly on her podcast in June 2026. "We're still having a baby together, we're going to coparent together. J has been so great about us still having a baby together and he wants the same thing. We're just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family."

The couple's collaborative approach to their separation was further demonstrated when Jelly Roll posted a YouTube video on June 19, 2026, titled "The Divorce Vlog," in which he called Bunnie to promote her podcast episode about the split.

"Yeah, y'all thought we were going to hate each other didn't you?" Jelly Roll said in the video, speaking to Us Weekly. "Plot twist, bitches!"

The finalization of the divorce marks the legal end of their marriage while both parties emphasize their commitment to maintaining a friendship and co-parenting relationship moving forward.
