Jersey Shore Star JWoww Surprises Guests with Secret Wedding

Reality television personality Jenni 'JWoww' Farley orchestrated an elaborate surprise wedding ceremony on Wednesday, marrying professional wrestler Zack Carpinello at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The 41-year-old former Jersey Shore cast member transformed what guests believed would be a screening of her new film into an intimate wedding celebration.

The couple invited family and friends under the pretense of attending a special screening of Farley's new movie, Nanny Cam. Upon arrival at the Old Bridge venue, guests discovered decorations in dark red tones with elegant floral arrangements designed to evoke what Farley described as a modern Beauty and the Beast fairy tale aesthetic.

"We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who matter most to us," Farley told People in an interview published Wednesday. "We weren't interested in throwing the biggest wedding possible. We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was creating memories, not creating a production."

Old Bay Mayor Debbie Walker officiated the ceremony, which incorporated special roles for Farley's two children, Meilani, 11, and Greyson, 10. Farley shares custody of her children with ex-husband Roger Mathews, from whom she separated in 2019.

The couple selected June 24 as their wedding date because it falls precisely halfway between their respective birthdays on February 27 and December 21. Farley wore an off-the-shoulder white gown, and the ceremony featured a combination of traditional and handwritten vows.

"We've spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details, and building the surprise," the couple said in a joint statement to People. "Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they're attending a special screening for Nanny Cam to realizing they're actually at our wedding will be a moment we'll never forget."

The newlyweds, who began their relationship in April 2019, are now embarking on a honeymoon trip to Italy and Switzerland with close friends. Carpinello, 31, proposed to Farley during a visit to the Empire State Building in February 2021.

"More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us," Farley told People. "The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful."

The wedding represents a new chapter for Farley, who gained national recognition through her appearances on MTV's Jersey Shore reality television series. Her relationship with Carpinello became public shortly after her separation from Mathews, 51, in September 2018.
