Katie Holmes and artist Jason Bard Yarmosky made their first public appearance together on Saturday, July 25, attending a Ferragamo pop-up dinner at Topping Rose House in the Hamptons. The event, hosted by Gabrielle Union, marked a notable moment for the pair who have been the subject of romance speculation in recent weeks.
The 47-year-old actress and the 38-year-old artist arrived in complementary navy ensembles. Holmes wore a sheer navy button-down paired with a fringed champagne-colored skirt, black slingback pumps, and an orange handbag. Yarmosky selected navy wide-leg trousers with a matching cardigan, accessorizing with a red handkerchief tied around his neck.
When questioned about their coordinated appearance, Holmes offered a straightforward response. "I think we just have similar taste," Holmes told Elle.
The Saturday evening outing follows multiple sightings of Holmes and Yarmosky together in the Hamptons earlier this month. The two were photographed holding hands on several occasions in early July, though neither has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship.
Holmes recently reunited professionally with Joshua Jackson, her former Dawson's Creek costar and real-life ex-boyfriend, for the romantic comedy Happy Hours. The 47-year-old Jackson joined Holmes at the film's Tribeca Film Festival premiere in June, where he reflected on their enduring connection.
"The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us," Jackson said on the June red carpet. "And [it] is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life."
Holmes not only starred in Happy Hours but also wrote and directed the project. She discussed the significance of working with Jackson again during the festival's red carpet interviews.
"I take it very seriously, and I want to do right by Josh. I have a great deal of respect. So I wanted it to be right," Holmes stated in a separate red carpet interview at the time. "We've often talked about doing something again, but we never knew what. So it was really about that and agreeing to go for it, I suppose. He said yes, and that made me feel very good."
Following their Tribeca Film Festival appearance, the Doctor Odyssey star posted a tribute to Holmes on Instagram, praising her work on the film.
"It takes many hands to make a movie. And I am thankful to every hand that touched this one. But … this is a Katie appreciation post," Jackson captioned an Instagram tribute. "It is because of her light that all those hands were brought together. Because of [the] generosity of her spirit that she wanted to bring this wonderful, loving, hopeful story into the world."
Jackson was previously married to Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he shares a daughter. Holmes is the mother of daughter Suri from her past marriage to Tom Cruise.
