Kidman Posts Father's Day Tribute to Ex Urban

Nicole Kidman honored ex-husband Keith Urban with a Father's Day tribute on Sunday, June 21, sharing a black-and-white throwback photograph of the country musician carrying their two daughters on his back.

The 59-year-old actress posted the image to her Instagram Stories alongside a message reading, "Happy Father's Day to all the fathers," according to Us Weekly. The tribute featured Urban, 58, with the former couple's daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15. A second photograph showed a young Kidman with her late father, Antony Kidman, who passed away in 2014 at age 75.

The public acknowledgment came just one day after Urban posted his own Instagram Story wishing Kidman a happy 59th birthday on Saturday, June 20. His message, which did not include a photograph, read: "Happy birthday, Nicole Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The cordial exchange between the former spouses demonstrates their commitment to maintaining an amicable relationship following the finalization of their divorce. Us Weekly confirmed earlier this year that the couple, who were married for 19 years, officially ended their marriage in a Nashville court on January 6, 2026. The separation had been confirmed by the publication on September 29, 2025.

Kidman filed for divorce one day after the separation announcement, citing irreconcilable differences in her petition. She requested to serve as the primary residential parent of Sunday and Faith. The actress also shares two adult children, Connor and Bella, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The divorce settlement stipulated that neither party would pay alimony or spousal support, and confirmed Kidman's role as primary parent. No monthly child support payments were established as part of the agreement.

Kidman has addressed the dissolution of her marriage in several interviews since the separation. In October 2025, she told Interview magazine that she was "hanging in there." By March 2026, the Scarpetta star had expanded on her perspective during a conversation with Variety.

"I'm always going to be moving toward what's good. What I'm grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward," Kidman told Variety. "That's that. She explained that after two decades in the city, she considers it her home and has become deeply integrated into the community.
