Little Egg Harbor Man Accused of Firebomb Attack

John Algor, Jr., 24, of Little Egg Harbor Township, was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated arson, possession of a destructive device, and hindering apprehension following an incident that occurred Wednesday night around 11:30 p.m. on Oneida Lake Drive.

Members of the Little Egg Harbor Police and Fire Departments responded to emergency calls about a fire at a residence on the quiet residential street. The homeowner acted quickly, using a garden hose to extinguish flames that had erupted on the front porch before firefighters arrived.
