Local Family Mourns Loss of 20-Year-Old in Tragic Accident

A local family is mourning the sudden death of a young woman who grew up alongside their daughter and became part of their household over years of friendship.

Victoria Zardoya, 20, died following what has been described as a fall, leaving the Giudice family devastated by the loss of someone they considered family. Joe Giudice shared news of the tragedy on Sunday, July 26, through a social media post that included photographs of himself with his daughter Milania Giudice, 20, and her friends.

"There are no words for this kind of pain," Joe Giudice, 54, wrote via Instagram, according to Us Weekly. "Victoria, you were like a daughter to me. I watched you grow up with my daughter Milania. We were neighbors for years, and you became part of our family. I can't believe you're gone."

The former reality television personality reflected on the fragility of life in his emotional tribute. "To think that a simple fall while just being young and having fun could take such a beautiful life is heartbreaking," he told Us Weekly. "You were only 20 years old, with your whole future ahead of you. Life is so fragile. In one moment, everything can change. Please don't take a single day or the people you love for granted."

Joe Giudice concluded his message by stating he would never forget Victoria, who would always hold a place in their hearts. "My heart is with your family. Rest in peace, beautiful girl. Until we meet again," he told Us Weekly.

Teresa Giudice responded to the post with a heart emoji and praying hands in the comments section. She also posted her own tribute on Sunday through her Instagram Story, writing that the family loved Victoria.

Milania Giudice shared a series of throwback photographs from her childhood on her Instagram Story. She later posted a quote that read, "Lowkey hate nostalgia because what do you mean I can never go back."

An official cause of death has not yet been disclosed. Victoria Zardoya attended the University of Tampa alongside Milania Giudice.

Gia Giudice, 25, and Audriana Giudice, 16, also posted tributes honoring their sister's late friend.

"Heaven gained a beautiful angel today," Gia Giudice wrote on her Instagram Story on Sunday. "We love you Victoria." In a separate post, she noted that Milania and Victoria shared a bond that was never broken, adding that Victoria was 20 years too young.

Audriana Giudice expressed that Victoria would always remain in their hearts. "There are no words that can make sense of this," she wrote. "You were truly one of the most beautiful souls inside and out. You weren't just a close friend but you were a part of our family and I'll always be grateful that I got to grow up with you."

The youngest Giudice daughter added that losing Victoria did not feel real and she did not believe it ever would. "You had so much life left to live. Thank you for every laugh and every memory. Rest in peace beautiful girl," she wrote. "You will be loved and missed forever."

The tragedy serves as a stark reminder of how quickly circumstances can change, particularly for young people engaged in everyday activities. The Giudice family's public expressions of grief underscore the deep connections formed between neighbors and childhood friends who become integral parts of each other's lives.
