Male Escort Disputes Cassie's Claims in Court Filing

A former male escort suing Cassie over alleged psychological injuries has filed court documents disputing her claims that he supported her when she came forward with allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, according to TMZ.

Clayton Howard, who was mentioned multiple times during Diddy's criminal trial, submitted the filing on Wednesday, June 11, 2026, challenging Cassie's representation of a text message he sent to her husband, Alex Fine. The dispute centers on whether Howard was genuinely supportive of Cassie or whether his position has been mischaracterized in legal proceedings.

According to court documents, Cassie had previously submitted a text message that Howard sent to Fine after she filed her lawsuit against Diddy. The message read in part: "know your wife's truth is 100% valid as I'm sure you did as well, I would have come forward and I'm glad she got some form of Justice!"

However, in his new filing, Howard acknowledged sending the text to Fine but denied that it represented unqualified support for Cassie. He stated that he has never claimed Cassie "was an innocent victim who played no role in" the alleged crimes. While Howard said he believes Cassie is a victim of Diddy, he maintains that she also participated in activities that caused him harm.

The court filing reveals a key point of contention: Howard alleges that he did not consent to being recorded during sexual encounters and objected when he discovered the filming was taking place. According to his filing, Howard claims Cassie was responsible for filming these encounters.

The legal dispute has taken on additional complexity following revelations about Cassie's settlement with Diddy. Cassie submitted the text message as part of her response to Howard's lawsuit, arguing that he had been supportive of her when she pursued legal action against the music mogul. She suggested that Howard only changed his stance after it became public that Diddy paid her $20 Million to settle her lawsuit.

The filing underscores the complicated nature of the legal proceedings surrounding Diddy and those who have come forward with allegations. Howard's position appears to be that multiple parties can bear responsibility for alleged wrongdoing, and that acknowledging Cassie as a victim does not preclude holding her accountable for actions he claims harmed him.

The case continues to develop as courts sort through competing claims and interpretations of events. Howard's lawsuit against Cassie represents one of several legal actions stemming from allegations against Diddy, whose criminal trial has drawn significant public attention.
