Matty Healy, frontman of the British rock band The 1975, married model Gabbriette on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony at Castillo del Lago, a Spanish Colonial Revival mansion in the Hollywood Hills that was once owned by Madonna.
The wedding comes just two weeks after Healy's former romantic interest, Taylor Swift, married NFL star Travis Kelce in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Swift and Healy were briefly linked in 2023 before their short-lived relationship ended, with fans later speculating that the romance inspired several tracks on Swift's 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department.
For the Saturday evening nuptials, Healy wore a classic black tuxedo while his bride wore a white gown complemented by a long veil attached to her half-up, half-down hairstyle. Following the exchange of vows, the newlyweds shared a kiss as Healy dipped Gabbriette for photographers before proceeding to the reception.
The guest list featured an array of entertainment industry figures and social media personalities. Among those in attendance were singer Charli XCX and her husband George Daniel, along with Anastasia Karanikolaou, Fai Khadra, Alex Consani, Devon Lee Carlson and fiancé Duke Nicholson, Sydney Lynn Carlson, Tyrell Hampton, Alex O'Connor, and Quenlin Blackwell.
Healy and Gabbriette first sparked dating speculation in September 2023, several months after his brief relationship with Swift concluded in the spring of that year. The couple became engaged in June 2024, approximately one year before Saturday's wedding ceremony.
The timing of the wedding places it in an unusual position within recent celebrity relationship timelines. After her relationship with Healy ended in spring 2023, Swift began dating Kelce that summer. Their relationship culminated in a wedding ceremony that featured approximately 1,000 guests and was officiated by actor Adam Sandler.
The historic Castillo del Lago mansion, where Healy and Gabbriette exchanged vows, provided a distinctive backdrop for the celebration. The Spanish Colonial Revival estate's Hollywood Hills location and celebrity pedigree made it a fitting venue for the high-profile union.
