PLEASANTVILLE, NJ – On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, Bryan Miranda, 32, from Pleasantville, NJ,
was sentenced on two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS and one count of
Unlawful Possession of a Handgun without a Permit. Miranda was sentenced to an aggregate
term of six years in New Jersey State Prison with a period of parole ineligibility of three and a half
years.
On June 27, 2021, Atlantic City Police were dispatched in response to 9-1-1 call reporting shots
fired and that a man was shot. Upon arrival, witnesses reported to the officers that a male had
fled in a dark colored sedan. On July 1, 2021, a vehicle matching that description and registered
to Bryan Miranda was located. It was discovered that the vehicle had five bullet holes that were
covered by stickers. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a loaded handgun located in
the trunk. On July 4, 2021, officers detained Miranda for being on a wanted flyer.
On November 13, 2024, Atlantic City Police officers conducting surveillance witnessed Bryan
Miranda perform a hand-to-hand narcotics transaction. Officers then witnessed him conduct what
appeared to be another narcotics transaction with another individual. Officers then stopped
Miranda and found that he was in possession of $270.00, 11 pills of ecstasy, one clear plastic
bag weighing approximately 10 grams containing crack cocaine, one clear plastic bag weighing
approximately five grams containing methamphetamine, and 20 wax folds weighing five grams
containing heroin.
On February 27, 2025, Atlantic City police officers conducting surveillance in plainclothes
witnessed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal and run a red light. The officers effected a traffic stop
and utilized a K9 to conduct a sniff on the vehicle which yielded a positive indication for the
presence of narcotics. A subsequent search yielded a large clear plastic bag weighing 26 grams
containing methamphetamine.
