The post documented his experience undergoing what he described as an "Ibogaine Flood Dose" and drew supportive comments from his mother Cindy Crawford, father Rande Gerber, and sister Kaia Gerber.

In the post, Gerber shared a video of himself at a treatment facility during what he characterized as a quiet moment before "everything changed." He wrote that he was "absolutely terrified" going into the experience and acknowledged that relinquishing control did not come easily, though he trusted something larger than himself was guiding the process.

Gerber also stated that he understood why he was there and had finally confronted what he had been avoiding. He expressed hope that he would not need to return to treatment, writing, "Praying it's the last time I have to come back. Next time I'd like to choose," while thanking the treatment team and the friends he made during his stay.

Ibogaine is a naturally occurring psychoactive drug that some individuals use as treatment for addiction and PTSD. The substance is illegal in the United States but is accessible in Mexico and other countries.

Cindy Crawford responded in the comments, writing, "You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!" according to TMZ.com. Gerber replied, "love you mama!!!"

Kaia Gerber also commented, writing, "that's my brother I am so damn proud," according to TMZ.com. Presley responded, "love you so much!"
