Seahawks' 'End Game' Post Draws Swiftie Backlash

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3 on Sunday night, but the team's postgame celebration on social media has drawn the ire of Taylor Swift's fan base. Shortly after the victory, the Seahawks' official account shared an image of white, blue, and green friendship bracelets featuring charms that read "Seahawks Win" at the bottom, according to TMZ.com.

The team captioned the post "End Game," an apparent reference to the 2017 Swift track of the same name. The post was published on October 26, 2026, at 7:33 AM PDT, per TMZ.com.

While teams frequently engage in online banter after a win, it is unusual for the wife of a player to be the target of such ridicule. Swift is married to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and her fans did not take the post lightly. Some commenters called the Seahawks classless and said the reigning Super Bowl champions need to "do better," TMZ.com reports.

Swift has been a prominent figure in the NFL since she and Kelce began dating in 2023, appearing in broadcasts and even taking the field in February 2024 after Kelce and the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII. The pair are now married, though other well-known wives and girlfriends of players, such as actress Hailee Steinfeld, who is married to Josh Allen, and Olivia Culpo, the wife of Christian McCaffrey, do not receive the same level of scrutiny.

Kansas City remains 5-1 and leads the AFC West heading into Week 8. The Chiefs will need to keep winning, or the season could become a difficult one for Swift and her fans.
