R&B singer Ne-Yo is facing legal action from a delivery worker who alleges she was attacked by a dog while dropping off a package at his Georgia property last summer.
Dominique Bridgett filed the lawsuit claiming the incident occurred on or around July 12, 2025, at Ne-Yo's residence in Georgia. According to the complaint, Bridgett was lawfully delivering a package when a dog on the property attacked her, causing what she describes as serious injuries.
The lawsuit alleges the attack resulted in severe bodily injury, pain, shock, and distress. Bridgett claims she has already incurred $9,039.50 in medical expenses related to treating her injuries from the alleged attack.
In her legal filing, Bridgett asserts that Ne-Yo bears legal responsibility for her injuries. She is seeking compensation for her medical expenses as well as additional damages beyond the documented treatment costs.
The case follows a similar high-profile lawsuit involving another R&B artist. Chris Brown recently lost a dog attack case brought by Maria Avila, a former housekeeper, resulting in nearly $13 million in damages. Avila subsequently filed legal motions attempting to collect from earnings generated by Brown's current tour with Usher.
The lawsuit against Ne-Yo highlights ongoing legal questions surrounding property owner liability when animals injure individuals who are lawfully present on private premises, including delivery workers and service personnel.
Representatives for Ne-Yo have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the allegations.
