Sutton Stracke is not addressing questions about her new boyfriend's legal history. The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star was approached outside The Henry in West Hollywood on Tuesday, where she declined to comment on John C. Kelly's alleged past, according to TMZ.com.
Page Six has reported that Kelly entered a guilty plea in a case involving secret recordings of women with whom he had sexual encounters. According to that report, three women accused Kelly of recording them without their knowledge during encounters that took place between 2011 and 2012. He was arrested in 2013.
Kelly ultimately accepted a plea agreement and received a sentence of 10 days of community service, per Page Six. His defense maintained that the camera was meant to keep an eye on his dog and that it had captured the encounters unintentionally, according to reports.
Stracke recently made the relationship public. She shared an image on social media showing Kelly kissing her cheek during Aerosmith's benefit concert, which took place Sunday at the Hollywood Bowl.
While Stracke avoided the topic of Kelly's past, she was willing to discuss the upcoming season of 'RHOBH.' Asked how newcomers Tracy Tutor and Leah Remini are fitting in with the cast, Stracke said Tutor is great, TMZ.com reported.
The encounter highlights the scrutiny that public figures face when their personal relationships become part of the public record. Stracke's decision to remain silent on the matter leaves the questions raised by the Page Six report unanswered for now.
