Vineland Man Sentenced on Narcotics Charge

MAYS LANDING, NJ – On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Carmelo Rosado, 30, from Vineland, NJ,

was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison by the Honorable Pamela D’Arcy, P.J.Cr.

Rosado previously pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance

on May 18, 2026.

On June 17, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers observed Rosado in the area of the

Martinique and Econo Lodge Motels in Atlantic City. Officers confirmed that there were active

warrants for Rosado’s arrest out of another jurisdiction. Rosado was taken into custody and was

found in possession of cocaine.

Assistant Prosecutor Renee Marshina represented the State in this matter.
