Our community will step back in time this August when Atlantic City hosts a spectacular recreation of one of music history's most iconic moments. The RE-WIND 69' Music Festival arrives at Showboat Resorts Garden Pier for three days of performances honoring the artists who defined the original Woodstock festival in 1969.
Scheduled for Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026—the anniversary weekend of Woodstock—the inaugural festival brings together New Jersey musicians alongside national and international tribute artists to channel the spirit of legends like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, and Santana.
Event producers Side By Side Live have partnered with Showboat Resorts to transform the Garden Pier at 801 Boardwalk into a living time capsule. The venue will feature a large-scale stage, with special three-day room rates available for festival-goers. Food and craft vendors will add to the authentic festival atmosphere.
Friday Lineup Kicks Off With Grateful Dead Tribute
The festival opens Friday, August 14 at 1:30pm with Steal Your Face performing the music of Grateful Dead. The John McNutt Band—a New Jersey favorite—follows with a Creedence Clearwater Revival set, before Wooden Ships delivers the harmonies of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Everyday People closes the night with the funk-driven sounds of Sly & The Family Stone.
Saturday Features Jersey Veteran CC Coletti
Saturday, August 15 begins with Pamela Renee Smith honoring folk and soul artist Richie Havens, followed by Billy Mungus channeling Joe Cocker. At 4:30pm, White Rabbit recreates the psychedelic sounds of Jefferson Airplane.
A highlight of the weekend comes when CC Coletti takes the stage as Just Like Janis. The New Jersey performer has toured globally with Meatloaf and opened for The Doobie Brothers and Pat Travers, bringing extensive experience to her passionate tribute to Janis Joplin. The Who tribute band Who's Next delivers a dynamic performance from 7:00pm to 8:30pm to cap the evening.
Sunday Closes With Hendrix Spectacular
The final day, Sunday, August 16, opens with a special tribute to The Jeff Beck Group featuring Philadelphia vocalist Eric Visnov as Rod Stewart. The performance holds particular significance—The Jeff Beck Group was originally scheduled to play Woodstock 1969 but disbanded the day before the festival.
Renowned Latin artist Edgardo Cintron and his band follow with the fiery music of Santana. The weekend concludes with Kiss The Sky-The Re-Experience, an internationally touring act featuring Jimy Bleu, the world's longest-running Jimi Hendrix tribute artist. Bleu performs all of Hendrix's signature moves and plays guitar left-handed, recreating the icon's legendary style.
