The couple occupied courtside seats at the high-stakes matchup in New York City, with ESPN SportsCenter capturing footage of Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, holding hands and greeting fellow fans as they settled into their positions. Both wore coordinated Chrome Hearts-embroidered denim jackets and jeans, continuing their pattern of matching Knicks gear at playoff games.
The celebrity attendance extended beyond the couple. Taylor Swift, 36, also appeared at the arena Wednesday evening, sporting blue-and-orange Knicks apparel while seated alongside Alana and Este Haim. Swift's presence at Madison Square Garden carries additional intrigue given widespread speculation that she may host her wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce at the venue later this year.
Chalamet has established himself as a devoted Knicks supporter throughout the season, demonstrating his commitment by skipping the Met Gala with Jenner on May 4 to watch his team defeat the Philadelphia 76ers by nearly 40 points. His dedication to the franchise runs deep, dating back to childhood experiences at Madison Square Garden.
The Dune star attended Game 3 on Monday, June 8, without Jenner, sitting courtside with Ben Stiller and Josh Safdie. That contest proved disappointing for Knicks fans, as the Spurs secured a 115-111 victory. Despite the loss, the Knicks maintain a 2-1 series lead.
Last week, Chalamet shared the physical consequences of his intense fandom through Instagram Stories. The actor posted images showing ice packs on both knees and his body propped up with pillows. In a subsequent post, he addressed the demands of playoff attendance directly.
"Ppl underestimate the wear and tear on the body of a fan throughout the playoffs," Chalamet wrote. "Self care is important."
Despite his self-described injuries, the actor continued displaying team loyalty, wearing a blue Knicks T-shirt while recovering.
Chalamet's connection to the franchise extends to his formative years. During a December 2025 appearance on the "7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony" podcast, he recalled attending a notorious 2008 game between the Knicks and the Denver Nuggets at Madison Square Garden. That contest became infamous when a flagrant foul between Knicks guard Mardy Collins and Nuggets guard J. R. Smith escalated into a brawl, resulting in ten player ejections and multiple suspensions.
"One of my first games, I was 10 years old, was the Denver Nuggets vs. the New York Knicks," Chalamet said on the podcast. "If you look at the footage … I snuck down with my buddy. We're on the tunnel exit and you can see the players. You can see a little kid going nuts on the players! That was me! That was a crazy game to be at."
The NBA Finals series will shift to the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio for Game 5 on Saturday, June 13, regardless of Wednesday's outcome. The Knicks seek to extend their series advantage and move closer to claiming the championship.
