Miami Altercation Leaves Influencer in Headlock Outside City Hall

A confrontation outside Miami's City Hall on Friday, July 24, resulted in a social media influencer being physically restrained by security personnel in an incident captured on video and widely circulated online.

Braden Eric Peters, who operates under the online persona Clavicular and focuses on looksmaxxing content, was tackled to the pavement and held in a headlock during the altercation. A 5-minute video of the incident was posted to social media platform X by his associate Drago, showing the physical struggle between Peters and what appeared to be security guards or bodyguards.

According to TMZ, the confrontation stemmed from a disagreement between Peters and other individuals inside a nightclub located near the City Hall building. The dispute apparently escalated after the parties left the establishment.

The video documentation begins with Peters engaged in a physical struggle with a security guard before being forced to the ground. While restraining Peters with an arm around his neck, the guard can be heard declaring the influencer under a citizen's arrest.

Throughout the footage, Peters' companion attempted multiple times to intervene but was prevented from doing so by another security guard. The situation involved all four individuals in physical contact, though the guard maintained his hold on Peters continuously.

At one point during the restraint, Peters voiced difficulty breathing due to the guard's arm positioned around his throat. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene approximately three minutes after the initial physical contact began and worked to separate the involved parties.

The video concludes with Peters seated in the rear of a police vehicle. However, TMZ reported no arrest record exists for Peters in connection with this incident. The Miami-Dade Police Department has not yet clarified Peters' legal status following the confrontation.

Drago shared the footage on Friday with the caption dismissing the citizen's arrest claim. Peters subsequently posted on X praising his associate, writing that Drago is his right hand man and calling him an absolute legend.

On Saturday, July 25, Peters responded to criticism from another manosphere influencer, HSTikkyTokky, who mocked him for the incident. Peters attributed the difficulty in defending himself to wearing 3 inches of height inserts, stating that others criticizing him were not playing the same game.

This incident marks the latest in a series of legal and personal troubles for the influencer. In March, Peters was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on misdemeanor battery charges related to an alleged fight involving his girlfriend, Violet Marie Lentz, and Jenny Popach. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released from Broward County Jail.

On April 14, Peters suffered a suspected overdose during a livestream and required hospitalization. He later characterized the incident on the Hang Out with Sean Hannity podcast as passing out from not eating that day and consuming excessive alcohol, comparing it to common college experiences among 20-year-olds.

Peters has acknowledged on social media that substance use represents an attempt to cope with feeling neurotypical in public settings, though he recognized such behavior does not constitute a genuine solution to underlying issues.
