Reality TV Star's Daughter Readmitted to Hospital

A 13-year-old girl whose medical emergency has drawn widespread attention on social media was readmitted to the hospital Friday, her stepfather announced, marking a setback in what has been a harrowing health crisis for the family.

Kenny Niedermeier, 63, shared the news via his Instagram Story on Friday, July 24, revealing that Hannah had been taken to the emergency room earlier in the day as her physical symptoms worsened. The development comes just four days after the teenager was released from the hospital on Monday, July 20.

"Unfortunately Hannah was admitted into the ER earlier today with some worsening of her physical symptoms," Kenny Niedermeier wrote in his social media update, according to Us Weekly. "The doctors have been running test[s] and scans and will know more soon. Hannah is in good spirits."

The reality television personality expressed gratitude to supporters who have followed Hannah's medical journey, acknowledging the outpouring of concern from those tracking her progress.

"We know many of you care about Hannah and her progress and you deserve an update. Thank you all very much," he wrote, according to Us Weekly.

Hannah's father, Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, 37, had celebrated her hospital discharge earlier this week, sharing the news in a video posted to Instagram on Monday.

"My heart is so full to let you guys know that Hannah has been released from the hospital," Armando Niedermeier-Rubio said in the video, according to Us Weekly. "Which is the best news we could have right now."

In that same video, Kenny Niedermeier described the family as being "over the moon" to return home together and noted that Hannah was "happy to be leaving the hospital," according to Us Weekly.

The teenager's medical crisis began when she was rushed from her home in Mexico to the United States for urgent treatment. Medical professionals determined that Hannah had suffered a brain bleed, a serious condition that required immediate intervention.

Armando Niedermeier-Rubio initially encountered difficulties obtaining permission to enter the United States but was ultimately able to reunite with his daughter during her hospitalization.

The father provided details about the frightening onset of Hannah's symptoms in an Instagram post on July 14. He described noticing alarming changes in his daughter's appearance and physical capabilities that prompted immediate medical attention.

Hannah's face appeared "droopy — half of her face — and her lips and stuff," Armando Niedermeier-Rubio shared in the emotional post, according to Us Weekly. "Half of her body had no strength. So [I] immediately took her to the doctor."

Medical professionals found the case particularly puzzling given Hannah's age and the absence of certain typical warning signs.

"When we got to the doctor, they did tell us her levels were normal in the sense of no high blood pressure. Which was strange to the doctor because she said usually with stuff like this, she knew with the symptoms that it was something with the brain, but it was strange given her age and also the fact that she didn't have high blood pressure, which would be a huge symptom for that," he explained in the post, according to Us Weekly.

Kenny Niedermeier has remained at Hannah's side throughout the ordeal, providing regular updates to concerned followers as medical teams work to understand and treat her condition. The family now awaits results from the latest round of tests and scans conducted following Friday's emergency room admission.
