Adult Film Star Arrested After Las Vegas DUI Crash

An adult film star faces misdemeanor DUI charges following a Saturday collision in Las Vegas, with newly released police body camera footage showing the moments before his arrest as he denied consuming alcohol or other substances prior to the crash.

Drake Von was arrested Saturday after his Tesla collided with a Kia Soul, according to Las Vegas Metro Police. Body camera footage obtained by TMZ shows officers questioning Von in an emergency room waiting area following the incident.

During the recorded exchange, Von told officers he had not consumed alcohol or any substances before driving. He indicated he had recently purchased the Tesla and stated the last time he drank was approximately one week earlier at a party, where he consumed wine. Von also agreed to participate in sobriety testing when officers requested his cooperation with an impairment evaluation.

The body camera footage concludes with Von being escorted from the medical facility in handcuffs and placed into a police vehicle, a stark departure from his earlier denials of substance use.

According to the police report, officers discovered 13 nitrous oxide tanks inside Von's vehicle, along with balloons and rubber bands. Witness accounts provided to investigators indicated that Von's Tesla pulled out of a parking lot before striking the Kia Soul. One witness reported observing Von appearing slumped over the steering wheel prior to the collision.

The presence of nitrous oxide tanks raises questions about potential impairment, as the substance is sometimes used recreationally despite its dangers. Nitrous oxide can cause dizziness, disorientation, and impaired motor function, all of which pose significant risks when operating a motor vehicle.

Von now faces misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from the Saturday incident. The case highlights ongoing concerns about impaired driving in the Las Vegas area, where law enforcement continues to prioritize traffic safety enforcement. The investigation remains active as authorities process evidence and witness statements from the collision.
